On February 5, the 2025 “Quancheng Xiaojiang” New Year Cup National Youth Football Invitational Tournament was successfully inaugurated in Shizhong District, Jinan. Hu Zhonghua, Deputy Director of Shandong Football Management Center, Zhao Fengdong, Executive Vice Chairman of Jinan Football Association, and others participated in the event. Song Yu, a member of the Party leadership group and Deputy Director of Jinan Education Bureau, attended the opening ceremony and delivered a speech.

A total of over 300 primary school students from 22 teams across the country, including those from Luneng Football School, Zhengshang Road Primary School in Henan, and Hebei Kaisheng, took part in this competition. The “Quancheng Xiaojiang” Youth Football Invitational Tournament is a series of off-campus brand competitions for primary school students created by Jinan Education Bureau. Based on the in-school league, it leverages weekends and holidays to achieve coordinated interaction and close cooperation between in-school and out-of-school activities, providing children with a greater number and higher quality of competitive opportunities.

In recent years, Jinan Education Bureau has been committed to the holistic development of moral, intellectual, physical, aesthetic, and labor education, while actively exploring a through-training model for football talents. It has expedited the development of a fast-track system for talent growth, allowing children to truly stand at the center of the pitch, forging the “most beautiful home ground,” and creating a path of reform and innovation for campus football in the new era.
