On August 27, a delegation from the Republic of Kazakhstan visited Jinan Vocational College. The group, consisting of six members including Sapar Shalabayev, member of the Board of Trustees and Vice President of Satbayev University, and Nurbibi Smagulova, Dean of the Institute of Innovative Technologies at Karaganda Technical University, came to the college for an exchange visit. They were accompanied by a four-member team led by Ji Yingjie, Director of the Department of Science and Education at the China-Shanghai Cooperation Organization Center for Scientific and Technological Innovation Cooperation. The three parties held discussions on the establishment of the "Ban-Mo College." Du Hongbo, Deputy Party Secretary and President of the college, attended the meeting, along with responsible officials from the Department of Planning and Development (International Exchange Center), the Department of Technology Services, the Department of Automotive Engineering, the Department of Intelligent Manufacturing, the Department of Finance and Business, and the Sino-German Technology Department.

During the discussion, Du Hongbo gave a brief introduction about the college's basic situation. Sapar Shalabayev delivered a speech and expressed gratitude for the warm reception. Yerkebulan Kurymbayev, Deputy Director of the International Cooperation Office at Satbayev University, and Nurbibi Smagulova, Dean of the Institute of Innovative Technologies at Karaganda Technical University, respectively introduced their institutions' strengths in education, distinctive features in discipline development, and international cooperation initiatives, expressing strong interest in establishing practical collaborations with the college.

During the visit, Du Hongbo accompanied the delegation on site visits to the Sino-German Technology Department, the Engineering Training Center, the Department of Automotive Engineering, the Sinotruk Global Training Center, the Century-Old Chinese Textbook Exhibition Hall, and the Intangible Cultural Heritage Aesthetics Museum, providing them with firsthand insights into the college’s integration of industry and education, training facilities, and technical talent development.

This visit has effectively strengthened communication between Jinan Vocational College, Kazakhstani universities, and the SCO Center for Scientific and Technological Innovation Cooperation, broadening international educational collaboration channels and laying a solid foundation for further deepening cross-border integration of industry and education and advancing cooperative projects.
