On the occasion of the 40th anniversary of the sister-state relationship between Shandong Province and South Australia, a delegation from the South Australian Department for Education visited Jinan No. 3 High School on the afternoon of April 16 to conduct exchanges and discussions centered on educational development and future cooperation.

Ms. Sliwak, Director of International Education Services at the South Australian Department for Education, noted that the educational philosophy of Jinan No. 3 High School aligns well with that of South Australia. She expressed hope that the visit would serve as a starting point to deepen cooperation and expand joint projects in areas such as curriculum development and student and teacher exchanges. A representative from the Jinan Municipal Education Bureau reaffirmed the city's commitment to open schooling and integrated development, actively building international education exchange platforms to help broaden students' global perspectives and enhance their comprehensive competencies.
The delegation toured the Jinan No. 3 High School campus, visiting facilities including the Mental Health Education Center and the STEAM Education Center, where they received detailed briefings on the functions and courses offered. At the sports and arts complex, they watched a textbook play performance titled "Spring Sends You a Poem," as well as performances of traditional Chinese music and dance. Chinese and Australian teachers and students interacted warmly, fostering mutual understanding and friendship in a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere.
According to reports, Jinan No. 3 High School has previously established a formal sister-school partnership with Plympton International College in South Australia, laying a solid foundation for this exchange. In the second half of this year, the school plans to conduct further reciprocal visits with Plympton International College, aiming to continuously enrich its educational content and cultivate young people with both patriotic devotion and a global vision, thus contributing to Sino-foreign education exchange and cooperation.
