Macau Chinese General Chamber of Commerce Affiliated Qingzhou Middle School Visits Jinghui Primary School, Jinan High-Tech Zone

On March 23, a 12-member delegation led by Ms. Huang Lihua, Director of Academic Affairs from Macao Qingzhou Middle school, arrived at Jinghui Primary School in Jinan High-Tech Zone for a two-day visit. Students from Jinghui Primary School showcased the fruits of well-rounded education through captivating desk dance and band performances. The two schools exchanged souvenirs designed by their students, a gesture that reflected their sincere friendship.

In her speech, the principal of Jinghui Primary School highlighted the efforts of Jinan’s municipal and high-tech zone education authorities to enhance education quality and cultivate globally competitive talent by building exchange platforms and deepening cooperation between Jinan and Macao. From a teacher exchange in 2017 to a return visit by Macao Qingzhou Middle school in 2018, the collaboration between the two schools has expanded over the past nine years into a comprehensive partnership encompassing teacher-student interaction, cultural integration, joint teaching research, and artistic collaboration—a vivid testament to the “mutual commitment and shared progress” in Jinan-Macao educational exchanges.

Ms. Huang Lihua noted that since the two schools became sister institutions, they have remained committed to using culture as a bridge and education as a medium. Through exchanges, they have learned from each other’s strengths and grown together, deepening emotional bonds and fostering meaningful dialogue between educational philosophies and practices. This has provided valuable experience for basic education exchanges between Macao and the mainland.

During the visit, the Macao teaching team engaged in classroom observations, featured courses, recess activities, and teaching research seminars, immersing themselves in the school’s culture and management. Teachers from both sides held in-depth discussions on curriculum design, teaching innovation, and school culture development, building consensus and exploring new pathways for educational advancement.

This visit marks another deep interaction since the establishment of the sister-school relationship. It serves as both a review of past achievements and a concrete step toward deeper integration and high-quality development in Jinan-Macao education. Both sides expressed their commitment to further expanding cooperation, diversifying exchange formats, and promoting the sharing of educational resources and joint talent cultivation—broadening the cultural bridge and strengthening the educational bond as they jointly embark on a new chapter of high-quality development in Jinan-Macao education.
