Hong Kong Education Exchange Friendship Delegation Visits Jinan

To deepen educational cooperation between Shandong and Hong Kong, and to promote mutual learning of educational philosophies and sharing of school-running experience, a nine-member Hong Kong Education Exchange Friendship Delegation visited our city from April 10 to 11. The delegation toured five schools — Jinan Art School, Jinglun Primary School (Shizhong District), Jinan No.7 High School, Jinan Xianxing Experimental High School, and Shandong Normal University Affiliated High School — engaging in a two-day educational and cultural exchange activity.

During the visit, the delegation toured the campuses, exploring functional classrooms, specialized venues, and cultural corridors. Meanwhile, educators from both sides held in-depth discussions on topics such as campus culture development, curriculum design, the practice of holistic education, and cultural heritage. They shared ideas and looked to the future with friendship and mutual respect. Both sides agreed that education in Shandong and Hong Kong has distinctive features and strong complementarity, promising broad space for cooperation. The five schools left a deep impression on the delegation with their excellent educational atmosphere, rich curriculum systems, and orderly campus management. At the conclusion of the event, the two sides exchanged souvenirs as a gesture of friendship and memory.

This exchange activity has built a solid bridge for connectivity, mutual learning, and shared progress in education between Shandong and Hong Kong. Our city will continue to expand its vision through openness and seek progress through exchange. We will deepen educational collaboration with Hong Kong, fostering mutual sharing of ideas and resources, and leveraging complementary strengths to continuously improve the quality of school operation, empower high-quality regional educational development, and jointly draw a bright blueprint for coordinated educational development between Shandong and Hong Kong.
