In order to deepen the educational cooperation between Jinan and Hong Kong and promote friendly exchanges between the two places, in the afternoon of May 26, 2025, the teacher and student delegation from the Hong Kong Yuen Yuen Institute No. 3 Secondary School visited Jinan University Town Experimental Senior High School. The school leaders and representatives of teachers and students gave them a warm reception.           

Sharing Wisdom and Exploring New Paths in Education Together

The principals from Jinan and Hong Kong respectively introduced the characteristics of their schools' running and the fruitful achievements in education, reviewed the educational friendship, and jointly planned for collaborative development.   

Forging Friendship and Unveiling a New Chapter of Cooperation

The principals of the two schools jointly signed a cooperation agreement, marking the official establishment of a long-term cooperative relationship between the two schools. They unanimously expressed that they would take this signing as an opportunity to deepen cooperation in areas such as curriculum co-construction, mutual visits of teachers and students, and resource sharing, and work hand in hand to explore a new chapter in educational development.

Immersive Experience to Feel the Culture of Supreme Goodness

After the signing ceremony, the teachers and students from Hong Kong, guided by the volunteers of Jinan University Town Experimental Senior High School, embarked on a journey to experience the campus culture. The visiting delegation successively visited characteristic venues such as the University Hall, the Aerospace Base, the Joyful Movement Hall, the Library, and the Good Pet Stress Relief Station. They were immersed in experiencing the school-running concept of "Pursuing Supreme Goodness in the University Spirit and Striving to Benefit the World" and the characteristic educational achievements of Jinan University Town Experimental Senior High School. The teachers and students from Hong Kong spoke highly of the school's modern teaching facilities, strong academic atmosphere, and the "Double High-level Joint Education" model.

Sharing the Same Lesson and Appreciating the Charm of the National Treasure Together

The students from the two schools jointly participated in the characteristic art course titled "The Treasure of the Country - Peking Opera". Zhou Xu, a teacher from Jinan University Town Experimental Senior High School, led the students to appreciate the vocal music, body movements, and costume culture of Peking Opera through vivid explanations and demonstrations. The students from Hong Kong actively tried out the Peking Opera movements, and there were continuous cheers at the scene. After the course, a student named Chen from Hong Kong remarked, "Peking Opera is not only an art form but also a treasure of Chinese culture. This experience has made me love traditional culture even more deeply."

Exchanging Gifts with Sincere Hearts to Deepen the Roots of Friendship

At the end of the event, the teachers and students from the two schools exchanged gifts. The teachers and students from Hong Kong brought the Chinese character "Fu" created by the teachers and students of their school, as well as traditional Hong Kong-style delicacies. In return, Jinan University Town Experimental Senior High School presented the calligraphy and painting work titled "Morning Melody" created by its students, the school's cultural and creative products including the "Supreme Goodness Little Flying Apsaras" keychain and the "Supreme Goodness Sheep" ornament. Before the gift exchange, the teachers and students of both sides shared the creative inspirations and blessings of the gifts through the "Gift Story Sharing" session, and their sincere friendship touched everyone present.

Looking Forward to the Future Together and Writing a New Chapter in Education

This exchange is another important practice in the educational exchange between Shandong and Hong Kong. It not only builds a bridge for normalized cooperation between the two schools but also enhances the emotional connection among teachers and students through cultural mutual learning, providing a demonstration sample for promoting the coordinated development of regional education. In the future, the two schools will continue to deepen their cooperation and jointly write a brand-new chapter in the high-quality development of education.
