On the morning of January 22, 2025, Jinan Shungeng Primary School held a splendid cultural event. The event specially invited representatives of international students and teachers from Shandong University and Shandong University of Finance and Economics to participate. The international students came from countries such as Russia and Saudi Arabia.

Tracing the Roots of Culture of the character "Fu"

The event began with the recitation of "Spring Festival Nursery Rhyme" by the children in Jinan Shungeng Primary School. Zhan Wenna, a calligraphy teacher, provided an in-depth interpretation of the profound cultural connotations behind the character "Fu" and the writing of Spring Festival couplets. Different styles of the character "Fu" were showcased, enabling everyone to appreciate its charm.

Writing the character "Fu" and passing on the blessing

Subsequently, international students, along with the children and community volunteers, came together to write the character for "Fu". The students were encouraged to freely unleash their creativity, incorporating patterns or decorations inspired by their own cultural elements.

The children delivered the "Fu" character, filled with blessings, and the meticulously written Spring Festival couplets to the hands of international students to express their blessing for the New Year.

Making Dumplings for Reunion

When the steaming dumplings were served, the wafting aroma was imbued with the essence of reunion, allowing everyone to feel the strong festive spirit and heartwarming friendship.
