The work report and assessment was not only an annual "major examination" and a test of responsibility, but also a grand event for the exchange of wisdom, mutual learning of experiences, and showcasing of talents. The reporting officers closely focused on the central tasks of education and elaborated on various dimensions such as team building and management, core business quality and efficiency, and innovative characteristics in education. During the reporting process, they not only comprehensively "demonstrated achievements and highlighted strengths" but also honestly "identified problems and clarified directions". By reviewing, organizing, and summarizing a year's work, we can see the true state of the campus, understand the laws of devoted education, and have good expectations for the future of Jinan education.

In order to make the annual assessment more open and effective, the Education Bureau invited a third-party panel of judges composed of delegates of the Party Congress, NPC delegates, CPPCC members, media representatives, and students'parents to conduct on-site evaluations.

After carefully listening to the on-site work reports of the directly affiliated units, Wang Hong, the Executive Deputy Secretary of the Jinan Education Working Committee of the Municipal Party Committee, the Party Group Secretary, and the Director of the Jinan Education Bureau, stated that in 2024, Jinan's education focused on the thoughts, expectations, and directions of the masses, promoted the implementation of the "Three-Year Action Plan for High-Quality Development of Jinan Education", strived for reform and innovation, overcame difficulties, achieved remarkable results, and that Jinan's education, which is warm and high-quality, has won the hearts of the people.

Wang Hong expressed his sincere gratitude to the representatives from all walks of life who participated in this "open review" activity. He emphasized that this work report activity was not only about "reviewing" and "displaying" but also about "exchanging" and "sharing". In the new journey toward building a strong educational country, in order to make Jinan's future education "promising", educators should not only "work hard" but also "be good at working", while simultaneously adhering to the baseline to "avoid rash actions". He believed that there would be more and more people who would see, understand, and have good expectations for education.
