Guided by the Party Working Committee and the Administrative Committee of the High-tech  Industrial Development Zone, the district education system in recent years has set its eyes firmly on the strategic goal of building a "District with Strong Education." It has been committed to making progresses based on effective efforts and tangible outcomes, establishing a reputation of high quality education. The High-tech Zone’s education system is proud of its high quality, distinctive characteristics, and humanism concerns.

Within the High-tech Zone, there are currently a total of 107 kindergartens, 20 primary schools, seven junior high schools, eight integrated schools offering nine-year compulsory education, one public senior high school, one private integrated junior and senior high school, and two private integrated schools offering primary to senior high education. There is also one school for children of foreign nationals and nine higher education institutions within the district. A total of over 12,000 teachers and staff members serve about 137,000 students. In addition, there are 202 private educational training organizations. The educational services span all stages from kindergarten to 12th grade, with private schools complementing the public system, as well as accommodations for international demand.

The district education system has achieved a 94.45% inclusive rate for pre-school education, with premium kindergartens making up 72.9%. The efficacy of compulsory education has been continuously improving, with students achieving all-round personal development and a distinct advantage in academic performance. Especially, the high school section has grown fast and soon ranked top-tier within the JiNan City, featuring the prominent “self-driven learning, reflective learning, and conscious development” approach. With the education service maintained at its highest possible standard, the parental satisfaction rate has consistently hit 100% over the past six years.
