One is to continuously optimize resources and make education more effective. During the “13th Five-Year Plan” period, more than thirty schools and kindergartens were newly built, renovated, and expanded in the entire region, with 28, 000 new degrees added, enabling children to attend good schools at their doorstep. The practice of alleviating the problem of “large class size” was praised by the People’s Daily. The second is to adhere to student-oriented education and make education personalized and satisfying. All primary and secondary schools in the region have comprehensively carried out “5+2” after-school extended services, implemented the integrated reform of pre-schools in towns and villages, and created the “136+1” pre-school model, which have been awarded as the excellent case of comprehensive education reform and institutional innovation in Jinan City and a typical case of Jinan City government system innovation experience. The third is to firmly reform and innovate, making education more effective. More than twenty reforms have been carried out, including the reform of the principal rank system, the reform of the township education management system, the reform of the enrollment system for primary and secondary schools, the integration of preschool education in towns and villages, the reform of the teacher recruitment system, and the reform of group education, to stimulate the vitality of education.Seventeen schools were selected into the list of “Pilot School, Characteristic School, and New Excellent School” in Jinan City, and “Construction and Implementation of ‘356’ Problem Guided teaching Model” won the second prize of the National Teaching Achievements Award for Basic Education. Adhering to the strategy of “attracting, training, retaining, and utilizing” talents to strengthen education, we have trained three renowned principals in Qilu, three provincial-level special-class teachers, fourteen teaching and educating models and provincial and municipal levels, and thirteen outstanding teachers at provincial and municipal levels. |
