Recently, Han Zhaofeng, director of Senior Curriculum Development of the Hong Kong SAR Education Bureau, led a delegation of 124 from the Civic Section of the Hong Kong Education Bureau to visit Jinan Experimental Senior High School (Xinglong Campus of Jigang Senior High School), accompanied by Ma Xindong, governor of the Municipal Education Bureau.

Ma Xindong introduced to the guests the city’s history and celebrities, natural environment and construction blueprint, economic development and technological strength, and emphasized the main achievements in its education sector, which deepened the delegation's understanding of Jinan's education. He hoped, through this visit of the delegation, more exchange opportunities would be promoted to continuously strengthen the educational exchanges between Jinan and Hong Kong, and constantly create a new situation in educational cooperation, friendly exchanges, teacher training, student visits and so on.

The delegation visited the School's charming Science and Technology Museum, the Cultural Museum with deep cultural deposits, the vibrant Stadium and the Library, and felt the characteristics of the School and understood its fruitful achievements. The wonderful artistic performance and the happy experience of sport games of the students pushed the atmosphere  to a climax. Both sides expressed that they were "looking forward to meeting again".
